Description Of Music

In 1967, after ceaseless midwest club touring, this cincinatti band blessed the funk world with this future anthem, on tiny detroit label 'duo'. The dirge-like intro primes a wild, squawking sax-driven theme, with free-jazz improvisation at the end that puts the song well ahead of its time. An airtight rhythm section ensured dancefloor eruption when the track was rediscovered by funk djs in the early 1990's, and copies ended up changing hands for $500.

Breakestra's cover version first appeared on live mix part 2. Both cuts are ready to rock the disco, and now handily share sides of this new 45, with the original version appearing legitimately for the first time since its first release. Full pic sleeve, full liner notes, full-on funk!
