Background

So get ready for their forthcoming soul anthem entitled „Beautiful“ – nothing less than a real master piece of a ballad. Again the unique voice of Mayka guarantees intense soul-feeling. This diva can’t help it just being so authentically vintage – thank god for that! There are just not enough true singers such as Martha Hines, Ann Sexton or Barbara George. The Sweet Vandals´ music is blessed with excitement, power, sympathy for the groove.

The CD single & 12´´ both feature ´Beautiful´ with a radio edit and the original album version. As a bonus track you will surely enjoy the newest Sweet Vandals recording entitled „Too Much“ which previously just been available on 7´´ vinyl only. Yet another great acces to the Vandals´ sound is given by the amazing remixes of ´Too Much´- Lyon based Reggae group The Dynamics master that song in a deep roots reggae version. The second remix produced by the Sweet Vandals new organ player Santi is a freestyle groover with solid beat programming. The Sweet Vandals – simply beautifully!
